The dataset shows the distribution of families in the United Arab Emirates, according to the type of family and the sanitation source used in the residence. The dataset was produced in the year 2014 for the first time. These proportions are measured every 5 years through surveys and the values are valid for 5 years until 2023. Method of calculation: Relative Distribution (percentage of households in the UAE). Definition: A household consists of one or more people who live in the same dwelling and share meals. It may also consist of a single-family or another group of people. A dwelling is considered to contain multiple households if meals or living spaces are not shared. A family is a group consisting of two parents and their children living together as a unit.
